Donald Perlmutter
1939 - 2024
Donald Perlmutter died peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born in St. Louis in 1939, raised in Denver since the age of six, Don attended Montclair Elementary School, Gove Middle School, and graduated East High School where he was number 2 on the tennis team and president of the high school fraternity, Pi Tau Pi. He played the trumpet, was in the marching band and started his own band with some high school friends, playing at dances and such. Receiving both tennis and academic scholarships, he ventured to the University of Missouri where again he served as president of his fraternity, ZBT.
Don graduated from the University of Denver Law School and was a member of the law review. He started his career in private practice focusing on commercial law. Don met the love of his life, where else, at a shiva call.
